Daughters Attire Change For Mom's 80th Birthdat Party

To Daughters: Alice, Ann, Mayetta, Hattie and Sandra

The attire request for mom's birthday party had been changed from black pinstripes to lilac gowns. We want to take a nice family portrait and we want to look really nice and formal. There are some pretty gowns out there in the department stores and I think that you all would look stunning in them. This will be a first for our family girls seeing them dressed up so lovely. Please go with me on this one.

To:Sons: Emmitt, Bennie, Alfred,Clarence, Ricky, Lemuel and Robert

To: Grandsons: Marvin, Antwon, Trey, Clarence, Prijon and Briion

Your attire will remain the same(Black pinstriped suits with white shirt and tie with pure lilac or accented in lilac.

To: All Great-Grandchildren

Girls: Tally, Miracle and Marvelous

Your attire will be white dresses accented with lilac in your outfit, hair or socks.

Boys: Rasheed and Marvin, Jr.

Your attire can be white or black suits (preferrably white) with lilac tie or tie accents

To: Granddaughters: Tara, Kaisha, Allyson, Lemmorria, LaKeisha, Renee, Ashley, Alexandria and Attorria

Your attire will remain the same (lilac dresses). If you wish, you have the option of wearing gowns, also. I know that you will all be extremely stunning in gowns because you are all so beautiful. After all, you got it from your moms(smile).


Well, that concludes the announcement for attire changes. I can't wait to see how you all will look and I KNOW that mom will be truly pleased.

We need to get the funds to rent the building right away because it is in high demand. They are already accepting reservations through November 2007. The cost is $225.00 with a $100.00 refundable deposit (totaling $325.00)per day. Also, I would also like to point out that the dress code that was previously stated in my first letter is the same for all of our in-laws as well. Please get your outfits as soon as possible. We would like to take a family portrait and we want to look good.

We want everyone in our family to show up to this event. Unless you are exxxtremely ill, there is no reason for you to miss this. your attendance is mandatory. After all, It's in honor of our dearest family member.

"It's A Golden Celebration For Dorothy Lee George!"

Greetings family!

As we all know, this year is a year a praise and celebration to give honor to a woman who is truly remarkable. This beautiful woman is Dorothy Lee George, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend whom God has blessed and kept throughout the years. We are delighted to celebrate her 80th birthday on August 17 -19th, 2007. This celebration will take place in Orange Park, Florida. I will provide further details in the coming weeks so be sure to check your emails constantly. Preparations are underway to make this an event that she will never forget.

We are planning a special program in her honor so we need all of the children and grandchildren to each contribute their talent in some way to let her know that she is appreciated.

This occasion will be semi- formal. Our color scheme for this celebration is Purple, Cream and Gold. We will br dressing mom in royal purple and gold to display her royalty in our family. The colors for her children to wear consists of black with white pinstriped suites with a deep lilac purple.

The men and boys will wear their pinstriped suits with a white collared shirt and a light purple tie. Your tie can be of any design.

The daughters will wear their pinstriped suits or dresses with lilac purple blouses

The colors for the granddaughters will wear their lilac purple dresses or suits.

Please make arrangements to purchase your outfits before hand. We want everyone to look good for her. This dress code is required for all immediate family members. (Children and Grandchildren)

We need all of the volunteers from the family that we can get. We want to make this event extremely successful. Below is a list of things that we will need:

1. Monetary funds to pay for food, decorations, building rental, etc.
2. Volunteers for preparation of food and menu
3. Volunteers for decorations
4. Volunteers for arranging program schedule (Guest speaker, MC, etc.)
